A bit of weight obsession seems normal after having a baby. We want to fit back in our clothes – quickly! And according to many studies, breast feeding can really aid in losing the baby weight. But not all of us are so lucky, it seems. Whether breast feeding has helped you lose just the right amount of weight, you’ve felt like you’ve lost TOO much weight while nursing, or you’ve had to wait until you were finished nursing to lose those last few pounds, you’re not alone. Here’s a great conversation I stumbled across at the Berkeley Parents Network, where moms share their thoughts on breast feeding and losing weight. Check it out. You’ll probably find a similar story to your own, and possibly even some good advice. My own personal advice after doing this 3 times: eat healthy, get some exercise when you’re awake enough to, and try not to stress about your weight too much. Celebrate being a mom and what your body has just accomplished, and your figure will come back in time!
